Nearly There
Not as far as this Coronavirus lockdown goes, unfortunately, but the title of a new painting. As a self-employed artist, I'm well used to self isolation, working from home and painting or drawing in quiet solitude. Not that I flee from company and I'm always happy to see my family return from work/school, but I have never regretted not working in a busy environment. However, I am aware that everyone is different and many people cannot stand being confined to a small space, even when it's home. Even I can develop a little cabin fever with the need to take a walk in the big outdoors, which is why I find it easy to imagine walking among the hills just now on a golden sunlit evening, heading back to a cosy cottage. It will all be over soon.
